Our Duralite spacing system fits in between each pane of glass. Unlike conventional metal spacers that condensate, the Duralite spacing system is a warm edge spacing system that has a smooth surface. This state-of-the-art spacing system allows for better argon retention, better energy efficiency, improved condensation resistance, and better climate control.
All of our windows come standard with a foam filled frame. Using a foam filled frame allows our windows to not only minimize thermal transfer but reduce outside noise pollution as well. In addition, having a foam filled frame adds to the structural rigidity of the window.
Each window is filled with argon gas between the panes of glass. Argon gas is 38% denser than air and is non-toxic. Using argon gas between the panes of glass acts as a thermal break to even further ensure you do not feel the outside elements inside your home.
